The Emerald Peacock is on the hunt for a hard-working, switched-on Bussie to join our fast-paced team in one of Melbourne's busiest and most iconic cocktail bars.

Spread across multiple levels, including a lively rooftop and elegant indoor spaces, we serve up craft cocktails, good times, and top-tier hospitality every week – and we need someone to help keep the engine running behind the scenes.

What you’ll be doing:

• Keeping the bar and floor clean, clear, and stocked

• Collecting and polishing glassware

• Running kegs, restocking fridges, and helping set/reset the venue

• Supporting bartenders and floor staff during service

• Being quick, reliable, and ready for anything

What we’re looking for:

• Someone with energy, initiative, and attention to detail

• A team player who thrives in a high-volume environment

• Must be available weekends and late nights

• Previous experience in a similar role is a bonus, but not essential

• Must have or be able to obtain an RSA

Responsibilities

• Tidy up tables, counters and other bar areas
• Collect empty glasses and bottles
• Restock the bar with straws, coasters and napkins
• Prepare mixers, juices and cocktail garnishes
• Replenish peanuts and fruits
• Change out beer kegs and replace liquor bottles
• Remove trash and wipe down drink spills
• Refill ice bins
• Clean rags throughout the shift
• Assist the Bartenders during rush hour
